Nick Kewin is a writer and filmmaker whose narrative work is predominantly focused on gritty settings, family dynamics and a smattering of the surreal.

As a resident of the Canadian Film Centre’s Writers’ Lab, Nick worked to develop his feature film, The Crow Below and hone his mastery of the craft of screenwriting.

His audio drama, The Hollowed Out, co-created with his sister, Brit, won Best Audio Storytelling at Tribeca Festival 2022. 

His films have played at festivals such as Blood in the Snow, HorrorhoundCanadian Film Fest, and Lakeshorts

Nick’s deep interest in narrative craft has been integral in his success in building stories for brands such as Audi, PC Financial, Telus, Firestone, CAA and more. He currently lends his creative talents to LANDR Audio Inc.

He also records music under the monikers, Old Nick and ¡SLANG!.
